Recently, with the help of friends, we bought over 150 diapers and special canned food for injured dogs from the Borodyanka shelter. This shelter was bombed by Russians and the region was occupied for almost a month, so the owners weren’t able to properly feed these animals. The shelter had 400+ dogs but only 150 survived… We also came down to help another shelter too, we bought 1500 kilos of dog food and helped with the delivery of humanitarian aid.

My motivation for creating is the smiles of people who read the work on my page. We can discuss lots of contradictory topics and share various opinions. Thanks to this, I’ve changed as a person, and dare I say some of my followers have too. I hope that those who read Bloome Comics will know more about the RU-UA war as I’m currently using my page to spread awareness. After the war is over, I will come back with funny girly comics to make people happier.

My comics started out because I always wanted to create some relatable things for girls and show funny lifestyle stories. My major influencer for that is my mom, she’s always telling me some funny stories and they then tend to become part of my comics. When it comes to my personal style, well, it is something that is hard to explain, it just forms when you draw a lot.
My comic ideas depend on the plot and what I want to explain using it. Usually, it takes anywhere from 2 hours or more to finish one piece of work. If comics need to be more colorful or it is a collab with another artist, it can take 4-5 hours overall.

With that being said, when it comes to creating comics for me personally, the most enjoyable part is coloring. It calms me down and I can open my mind to more creative things and think about life in general.
Just like a lot of other artists, I do feel burnt out at times. Once it was at the end of summer 2021. I didn’t know why and what for I was creating art, but my followers pulled me out of these thoughts. (Thank you guys!)The second time it happened was right after the Russian invasion, I was so depressed by the news because of my family roots and it was also the fact that some of my relatives also live in Ukraine. I was afraid for their life and was angry reading the news for a long time, it put me off art for about several weeks before I realized that I can also help with my art and tell people about this ongoing war. I started a new series just for that.

Recently I’ve been receiving a lot of positive feedback, lots of Ukrainians express gratitude and thank me for showing support for them. I believe that if more people know the truth, more people will be inclined to help.
I’d like to let you know that Instagram is the only platform where I share my art as well as Bored Panda, where I post from time to time. You can also find reposts of my work on 9gag and Reddit, I suppose.
