You all know how much I love my job as a baby photographer in Chicago…I love a great baby photo session at my Chicago photography studio! Beautiful baby Milania was so much fun at her one year photo session. Her first birthday is a special day, and we wanted to show her special personality! A professional first birthday photo shoot is so fun to look back on as baby grows up, to remember all the cute faces, smiles, and personality of your baby!
When to schedule a baby session
Usually, it is suggested, after a newborn photo session, you wait until around the 5/6 month old mark. At this point, baby is sitting up, and if not, can sit unassisted in a bucket or basket provided at the studio. Babies do better if they’ve had so rest and are well fed. It is not suggested to book a session right before nap time or meal time. Some families come to see me for a newborn photo shoot, then for a six month session in studio, and then we meet again for a family session outdoors. This way, you are capturing baby’s growing moments, in different settings and styles.
