Art is a way to blow off steam from a difficult day. Drawing helps me to keep my mind and soul clear from all the negativity around me, to see a positive side of the current state of the whole society and to "travel" to my own perfect and peaceful world.
My children are what motivates me as an artist! They give me strength that I never thought I would have. I want to give them the best possible future and at the same time, I want to teach them that when you love what you do, you will be happier in life!

It takes me about an hour for a portrait or character to be done. But if I create my own ideas, it takes much longer. It's harder to come up with something new and then try to translate it onto paper than to simply draw what's been drawn so many times already.

I just finished a one-year project of 24 short stories for educational children's books, so I will stop undertaking freelance projects for a while and will focus on my own work again!
The best thing about being an independent illustrator is that I do what I love. Don’t let others tell you what you should be. People will always have something to tell, but it’s easier to wake up every day feeling happy, without having to do something that you hate.
If you do not take the risk, especially if you are at a young age now, then you will never know how your future might have turned out.
I took the risk 4 years ago and quit my job. Of course, it was not easy at first but if you believe in something and fight for your ideas then you will surely succeed.
