I’m Alexey Steshak, an artist and designer. I came up with a project and completed it with my own hands.
I’d love to share my pictures with you of how I made this mosaic portrait.
This portrait was the first I ever made, it took me 5 days to complete it.
I didn't copy a photograph of the face, I just drew a simple pattern on a wall. I used regular ceramic tiles, which you can buy at a household shop.
The most difficult part was to make the face from small pieces of mosaic. As you can see I glued mosaic tiles directly on a wall.
It was very difficult work, but I'm happy about it!
