If you haven't met your doppelganger yet, maybe you've been looking in the wrong places. Some lucky celebrities, for example, have found their body doubles...in the animal kingdom.

The phenomenon of doppelganger (a German word, literally meaning double-goer) was seen as a harbinger of bad luck in history and myths. Did the killer whale Kim Kardashian look-alike brought her misfortune? Probably not. Nor did the llama who looks like Rihanna. Not so long ago, though, this term entered our modern slang with a more neutral and general meaning. So celebrity doppelganger dogs probably fall under that category.
