You are probably used to seeing A-list celebrities like Rihanna or Ariana Grande all glamorous on red carpets or magazine-cover-worthy Instagram posts. And it’s no surprise knowing the job that they do as well as tools at their disposal, like professional makeup, lighting, photography and, of course, editing. Funnily enough, the latter can also be used to reimagine celebs in a whole new light.
That is exactly what Indonesian artist Indra Hakim did. He photoshopped Hollywood stars into photos of everyday Indonesians and made them seem unusually “regular”. Scroll down to see these pictures of celebrities in unexpected scenarios as well as a new culture.
