As an expat in living in Prague, stuck inside during COVID pandemic, I realized the importance of a good face to face conversation and how often it is spoiled by including useless small talks and redundant topics. So, I made a list of talking points that I felt were unnecessary for an informal meeting with someone new or on a date and started drawing them. Finally a story line came out and I made this character John and I thought it is a good idea to establish an imaginary but necessary club and put these illustration under that name; "Small talk haters club". Any good conversation comes with being open and respectful for each other, the club hopes that every meeting you have with someone be worth your time.
