We had four cats at the time. When we brought Murphy home from rescue, our first stop was our vet, who checked him out and told us he had an upper respiratory infection. We isolated him in our bedroom for a week. He had a private room with his own bowls of food and water, along with personal litter box and staff. Not bad for a kitten who had been slated for death.
