I cut out some holes in bottle bottom to create some different patterns and if worked well. In this pour I used the same colours as in one of my previous videos, but with less pearl white.
Technique: Reverse flower dip with paper napkin, Bottle bottom pour
Process:
- Pour your base on canvas
- Put your bottle bottom on the canvas with bottom up
- Pour paints on the bottom and use pearl white or some metallic paints between to create petal - lacing effect
- Take off the bottle bottom
- Use skewer to draw some flower shapes
- Gently put paper napkin on canvas ( You can use dry or damped napkin)
- Lift one corner at the time and then gently lift it (the middle last)
- Torch it for air bubbles and to activate pearl white
- And here is your flower :)
Colours I used:
- Boesner titanium white
- Arties colours cadmium yellow deep hue
- Amsterdam vermilion
- Arties colours cadmium red middle hue
- Arties colours cardinal red
- Arties colours dioxazine purple
- Windsor&Newton phthalo blue
- Pearl white
