My boyfriend who is a romanian graphic designer created a gameboard for his BA degree. Knowing that there are not so many games dedicated to cinephiles, he decided to concept one. “Cineludicus” is a boardgame that requires a board divided in four parts, each space corresponding to a movie genre: drama, thriller, science fiction and comedy, with a spinner placed in the middle of the board which is twisted by the players (between two and five).
The arrow will stop next to a category of movies and the player has to extract an illustrated card from that movie category. Moreover, under each category there will be symbols for guessing either the director, either the actor/actress or the year the movie was released. Once the card was extract, the player will have to guess and name the movie.
Even though it looks like it's just about guessing, the main purpose is getting entertained.
