"EMISSARY OF THE ANUNNAKI" is an epic graphic novel with a black metal heart. For over two years the team of creators has been working on this 130-page epic. Now, the pages are inked and colored, the final lettering stage has begun.
Working closely with Ashmedi - the founder and frontman of iconic Sumerian black metal band MELECHESH, the authors have made a story that blends the true, mind-blowing events from the bandʼs life with the Myths of the Anunnaki deities of Sumeria. The space-traveler gods are here to unleash true mayhem on the Land of Mortals.
Being the pioneers of Sumerian black metal, Melechesh has released 6 studio albums, with the most recent one being the critically acclaimed "Enki" (named after the Sumerian god of Water and Creation).
The author and scriptwriter Hasmik and the Lead comic artist Andranik have long been fans of extreme metal. Bringing this project to life is a dream come true. Well, after two long years of production, dreams indeed are finally coming true.
On April 15, METAL DEPOT has launched the pre-sales campaign of the graphic novel on Kickstarter, the funds raised from the sales will be immediately directed to creating the interactive generator, where the reader can influence the story, assist Ashmedi in his quest, and even see the grim Sumerian Underworld in 360.
