North West has once again found herself at the center of an online debate after appearing at her father Kanye West’s latest Yeezy fashion show on November 4.
The 13-year-old arrived with her younger siblings, 10-year-old Saint, 8-year-old Chicago, and 7-year-old Psalm, and stepmother Bianca Censori, but her striking look quickly caught people’s attention.

Highlights

  • North West attended Kanye West’s Yeezy fashion show with her siblings and stepmother Bianca Censori.
  • Her teal wig, blue contact lenses, bleached eyebrows, and gothic-inspired outfit sparked mixed reactions online.
  • The appearance followed North’s October livestream, where she pushed back against people calling her style “demonic.”
“What a weird family,” wrote one netizen.

North West and Bianca Censori’s appearance turned heads at Kanye West’s Yeezy fashion show

On Wednesday, Ye brought his family together for his fashion show in Los Angeles.
The event marked the return of his fashion brand after a four-year break. Kanye called the latest collection Season 01.
Kanye, who has four children with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, was joined by all of them at the show.
However, North and Bianca’s contrasting outfits became a major talking point.
North wore an edgy black raincoat with chunky boots, a long teal wig, matching blue contact lenses, and bleached eyebrows. Her look gave her a gothic appearance and echoed some of her father's previous fashion choices.
Bianca, meanwhile, wore a beige velour bodysuit with a plunging neckline. She paired it with tall beige suede boots, a matching pouch, and long honey-brown hair styled in curls.

Bianca and North’s pictures from the event quickly spread online as netizens questioned the family’s fashion choices

One person wrote, “This family needs much prayer and help!” while another said, “Does North know Halloween is over?”
Another compared the family's appearance to a fictional gothic household, commenting, “Looks like an Addams Family reboot or something.”
North's teal hair also attracted attention, with one commenter joking, “I think North forgot to take off the cape from the hair salon.”
Another compared her look to Christina Aguilera's appearance, writing, “North is giving me a blue-haired Christina Aguilera during her "Dirty" phase.”
Some commenters were more critical of the adults around her.
“No wonder North is a mess. Mother and stepmother are great role models,” one person wrote.
Another questioned the family's fashion choices altogether, saying, “By the looks of it, none of them know a da*n thing about fashion!”
One particularly harsh comment called for outside intervention, writing, “Child protective services needs to save those kids. I think it’s too late for North, but the rest have a chance if some sane, responsible adult could raise them.”
Not everyone agreed with the criticism, though.
One person defended North's freedom to experiment with her appearance, writing, “I love how she expresses herself... There's nothing wrong with it. No self-h*rm, no vulgarity, just an artistic kid using fashion.”

North’s latest appearance comes shortly after people called her style “demonic”

During an October TikTok livestream with her mother, Kim, North addressed criticism of her fashion choices.
Some people had described North’s look as “demonic.”
“I'm not demonic, guys, stop saying I’m demonic. No, I’m not. Just because I like to dress this way, don’t judge a book by its cover,” she said.
Kim suggested that the criticism might have started because of North's black grills and piercings.
However, North questioned why those choices made people associate her with something negative.
“Yeah, but I don’t know why you guys should put that with demonic because I don’t get that,” she responded.
She also explained that her white outfit during her September performance at The Vic Theater in Chicago reflected her religious beliefs.
“I was like, if I’m gonna do my first show ever, I gotta come like an angel, all white. 'Cause you guys know I’m not on that demon stuff. I believe in Jesus,” North said.
She added, “That’s how I came to show you guys I’m actually a light, not dark.”

Apart from North, Kim also defended her daughter’s unusual fashion choices

During the same livestream, Kim explained that her daughter always wanted to experiment with fake piercings even during her preschool years.
“When she was a baby, dropping her off at school, all she wanted was... her septum pierced or her eyebrow pierced,” Kim said.
“She would do like a double brow, just like in pre-K, going in with fake piercings.”
North also pushed back against suggestions that her parents' divorce had influenced her personal style.
“So you guys can’t say, ‘Where did the style come from? Is this style from the divorce?’ No, queen,” she said.
Kim has also supported her daughter's fashion choices. For Halloween, she dressed up as North, recreating her look with a blue wig and piercings.

"What is going on with North?" questioned one netizen
