I know it has been a real struggle for everyone this year to manage normal day-to-day life during this lockdown. It has much more impact on expecting parents and new parents.
I would like to share how this couple (the mom-to-be is my best friend) were dreaming of getting a photoshoot done when the lockdown is all over in England.
As soon as the mom knew about her pregnancy, she was worried about protecting her family and the baby from virus. Initially, it was a nightmare to go out of the home even for a walk/grocery shopping. Slowly, they kept away from hearing any news about the virus or anything that can be saddening/worrying. Then she started focusing on what she loves. She listened to her favorite music to boost her mood. She would speak to people who always spread positivity. She then started dreaming of her maternity photoshoot.
With constant lockdown and restrictions, they weren't ready to take a chance to miss the photoshoot with this baby. So the mom purchased everything well ahead. From her outfit, her husband's outfits, her first child's outfits, accessories and decorations. Everything was ready much advance.
They constantly checked all restrictions and limitations imposed and made sure everything is done accordingly. The day before the photoshoot, it was freezing and snowing. We really prayed for no rain/snow on the day of the shoot. God heard our prayers! There was bit of sunshine that day, yet it was freezing. Everything went well and safe!
They even managed to do Indian baby shower and western maternity photoshoot during this time, but on different dates to celebrate this pregnancy. They are looking forward to welcome the baby soon!
It was one memorable photoshoot of this year!
