The story started when two guys (Laurynas and Zilvinas) went to the same job interview two years ago. Instead of getting the job (both got rejected), they started a worldwide e-business. Inspired by finding a bunch of old vinyl records in grandma's basement, guys decided to create a few pieces of clocks to decorate their office.
"Everything started when I designed and made the 1st Daft Punk clock for my living-room wall" says Zilvinas. "I loved Daft Punk at the moment, so I posted it on Facebook and it went kind of viral. A few friends asked to create personalised clocks for birthdays and that's how it all started".
CROP SHOP is one of the most popular Lithuanian owned Etsy shop now and the business is booming at the Christmas period. "Everyone is looking for an unique present and that is where we come in for help", says Laurynas, co-founder of CROP SHOP.
All the designs were created with their own hands and the clocks are being assembled in Lithuania by a 5 person crew, so these beauties would reach everyone orders them on time. After some time Zilvinas' younger brother Adomas joined the crew to help them with the design custom orders they receive.
Guys now have more than 120 different design clocks and they also accept special requests for custom orders. CROP SHOP offers themed clocks for a lot of different music lovers - starting with the classics like The Beatles and going all the way to nowadays most popular performers like Beyonce or Jay Z. They also have a special line for TV series and movies characters and some other categories.
Personalised designs usually take up to 5 days to create the artwork and the clock is produced in a week for sending to anywhere in the world. It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks to receive the clock in US, but there is special Christmas shipping upgrade to be sure you will receive your gifts on time.
