I've always been fascinated by Qi Gong, and curious about the magic of the invisible realm that sizzles electrically all around us.
I wrote and co-produced this song, Rise Up, about the awakening of awareness about Qi. I love to make art that inspires and reminds us to focus the power of our imagination on making the invisible realm visible.
Then I met these lovely serpentine bellydancers and was inspired to weave with them and create visual metaphors around Kundalini energy and esoteric mysticism.
I also directed and edited the music video, and from start to finish, I felt that the art shaped me as much as i shaped the art. May that always be so.
