Bedtime Portraits I Photographed, Inspired By A Pumpkin.

About a year and a half ago I was putting my oldest to bed and was giggling to myself about how adorable he looked in his pj’s that were just a little too small and the fact that he sleeps (for two years) with a plastic pumpkin. Ten minutes later, after I had whipped him out of bed, he was standing in my home studio where I was capturing this moment. That’s where the inspiration came from for this personal project I lovely call my “bedtime portrait series”. What’s more adorable then kids in their pj’s with their favorite bedtime items!? Over about a year, I casually invited friends, family and clients kids into my studio ready for bed. So, allow me to introduce you to 15 awesomely adorable little humans in their pj’s with what they like to take to bed with them. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

As a side note, I definitely learned my own child is the “weirdest” taking a pumpkin to bed with him…ha! And you will noticed my other child by the mismatched pajamas which is pretty standard in our house.
