Being home almost 24/7 during the Covid19 lock down can get pretty boring some days...
As a professional photographer in San Diego I am not allowed to go on photo shoots with my clients as photography is not considered an essential business in California. Luckily I have two kids who are always trying to find ways to stay busy. I remember as a kid myself I absolutely loved playing with a hose. We don't have a big backyard or a pool, but a hose was all we needed during a recent heat wave.
At first I started shooting them playing outside but it was hard to keep my camera dry, so I decided to go inside and shoot them through a window and I worked out pretty well. You can see in some of the photos the cool effect of the water dripping down the glass and distorting part of the image. You would be surprised with fun results when you try different alternatives during a photo shoot.
