"Growing up I was always into art, whether it's drawing, playing instruments (I can play the saxophone), or making music," Tw1tter Picasso told Bored Panda. "I felt that it was a good way to express myself and keep myself busy when I was bored."
Tw1tter Picasso started drawing people for fun, whether it was his friends, teachers in class, or celebrities. But when he started posting his works on Twitter, he realized other people liked what he did. So he just kept doing it. And the rest was history.
"Honestly, art is subjective. To whoever, art can be horrible in one person's eyes yet cool to another. For me, as long as my portraits make people laugh, it's a good drawing," he explained.
The artist's subjects also notice his portraits. Canadian singer The Weeknd, for example, recently even changed his Instagram profile picture to a 3-year-old sketch of him by Tw1tter Picasso, sparking a lot of Twitter chatter in the process too.
"I think some of my drawings get ... traction [when] other pages start posting them enough, and celebs eventually stumble upon them. When they see the drawings and DM me back, it's always funny to hear them laugh at the stuff I drew. I think they know that in the end, it's all outta love."
