Our mission is to help women reshape their bodies and minds with the help of our personalized fitness and meal plans. Our rapidly growing startup is now looking for an ambitious and proactive backend developer who desires to build quality software fast for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on back-end development of applications and services;
- Make strategic technical and structural decisions;
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new features;
- Develop and execute quality assurance;
- Regular refactoring to improve systems.
Requirements:
- Experience with NoSQL document-based data stores like Firebase Firestore;
- Be comfortable with iterative and incremental development;
- Experience with Software Engineering;
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, testing, and debugging;
- Professional experience as a developer;
- Experience in building consumed REST-based API platforms;
- Understanding of Git workflow;
- Experience in building highly scalable systems;
- Good written and verbal English skills.
Would be considered as a plus:
- Web and mobile analytics experience using a variety of tools like Firebase Analytics and customer.io
- Experiences with payment service providers like Stripe and PayPal.
