The street is full of fleeting moments that can’t be planned – a perfectly timed glance, an unexpected interaction, or a striking play of light and shadow.
That’s what the 2026 Macadam Awards celebrate. Now in its third edition, the international street photography competition invited photographers from around the world to submit their best color and black-and-white images under the theme “Echoes of the Street.”
This year, an international jury representing 13 nationalities selected three winners and 23 Special Mentions, with Lu Wenpeng taking first place, followed by Perry Hall and Gustavo Rojas.
