Meet Weaver! A rescue dog on a mission to teach PAWSitive lessons to children everywhere! With help from his mom, Author Miranda Mittleman, Weaver has impacted the lives of 35,000+ children!
The PAWS and THINK! book series teaches valuable life lessons through the eyes of Weaver, a lovable rescue dog from Baltimore, Maryland. These books have received the Mom’s Choice Awards Gold Medal for Children’s Picture Books. Mittleman and Weaver travel to schools to share their award-winning books and cover topics on inclusion, self-confidence and gratitude. Over 130 schools have been visited so far and this is just the beginning!
Mittleman knew from the start that she wanted to use her platform to give back to her community. Through her Charity of the Quarter program, Mittleman donates a portion of the proceeds from each book to different non-profits every quarter. Over $6,000 has been donated to amazing organizations like The Maryland SPCA, The Baltimore Humane Society, Reading Is Fundamental, Believe In Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, and so many more!
