We believe that art can make you happier. That it enriches you and changes your view of the world. To make art available for more people we started Artvark in 2016.
We select twice a year five new, young, talented artists. We ask them to make work exclusively for Artvark, which can be sold in small editions. This concept makes it possible to provide the work for the affordable price of € 500 maximum. You can visit us during our releases or pop-up activities or you can buy on-line on www.artvark.nl
Ellis Faas (picture) is one of the artists of the next release. She is a well known make-up artist; Vogue Paris called her one of the most influential make-up artists of this generation. She has her own make-up label, only tested on models, not on animals. But she also makes all the promotion photo’s herself and these are much more than advertising-pictures. They can truly be classified as Art!
