Throw these shoes right now ! Well, not yet. That is the answer Srishti Kucheria, a 17 year old girl's response to anything that goes old, colourless and out of fashion. From shoes to bags, clothes to cardboard and diaries, Srishti Kucheria can upcycle any old boring item to spunky.
Her mission for the earth is to Turn every boring, old and waste article to anything that is colourful and lively !
She is a 17 year old, student, artist and entrepreneur, currently living in Chennai, India. She started Caught in Colours as a platform to share her artwork with the world and later on diversified into customised goods.
“Since the time I have started off I have sold painted, customised canvas shoes to Singapore and America besides India. It is amazing to see what creative concepts my clients bring and how I have to customise based on what they visualise. At the end, when they see it and like it, its all worth it.”, says the young entrepreneur.

The key element of customisation is what sets her goods apart from the crowd. Some of clients have described as the perfect way to add a personal touch or express one's personality.
She has always been a typography enthusiast and painting florals never fails to fill her up with joy. After a while, She started to customise diaries, notebooks, bookmarks, name tags and designed a couple calendars too. Since almost a year, She has been trying her hands at upcycling things such as shoes, tote bags, t-shirts and almost everything that was discarded.
Her message to the readers – “Think twice before throwing something out. A little creativity, enthusiasm and of course art supplies can transform your things around! Besides upcycling adds sustainability to fashion and a little colourful style to all the everyday items.” concludes Srishti Kucheria, founder at caught in colours on instagram.
