My boyfriend told me once that my past art always had a lot of shades of blue, which he did not like because he always thought it meant I was sad, and he wasn't wrong. Nowadays no matter what happens I use my art to make me happy, instead of using it to express my unhapiness and I think that is what was holding me back from my true potential as an artist. I paint things with bright neon hues and shimmery glitter because it is supposed to give a sense of happiness, I want my art to be a driving force in this world, I don't know how I am going to get there but, one day I will. Although I myself am only twenty, if there was advice I could give any young artist is, be determined, work hard, make art that makes you happy first, and the rest will come.
