My husband and I are both photographers, PhotographyByLisaAndTom.com. Our worksops, classes and photo tours, along with portrait sessions (we have a portrait studio here in Hamden) are all postponed and we are doing our part to STAY HOME so that we can flatten the curve and get back to regular daily life quicker. We are making the best of this situation and calling the time our "Artist in residence" period.
We have been making photographs of backyard birds, flowers, still life, water drop, abstracts, and more.

We also undertook a pandemic series in order to add a little levity to the situation. We all need moments of humorous relief.
"Panic" was the first in the series, showing one square left on a roll of toilet paper
"Got TP?" was next, depicting the relief in finding toilet paper
"Prepared" was next as we scoured the house, cabinets, and basement for cleaning and disinfecting supplies.
"Toilet Paper Seeds" was the fourth in the series, at attempt at making humor of the scarcity of toilet paper on the store shelves
"Trying to Grow Toilet Paper" was next, we planted the Toilet Paper Seeds, but nothing happened...
"TP Growing Slowly" followed, showing two squares on the previously empty TP roll
"Trying to Grow TP like a Potato" depicts another attempt at growing toilet paper
"Water helped speed up the TP growth" shows a half full roll growing after successfully being started in water.
