Tricia's Ooak Art is a form of creative coping that leads to one of a kind rustic decor & furniture. Originally I acknowledged my gift while seeking ways to cope with a toxic relationship. I was very restricted in my freedoms at the time and unable to go places like work or social gatherings...so I took to hiking like it was all I had left to cling to. That led to creating which in turn provides people with a piece of my heart and soul in a beautiful decor or piece of furniture. Many years later, and out of the abusive relationship, I have still found this to be tremendously valuable in my healing journey. Unique in many ways, my creations reuse, renew, & recycle old items (frames, mirrors, switchplates, etc...) As they are made new and better than ever I also give purpose to dead and dying items of nature in the form of interior decor.
