"I am an engineer from India but I also love animals and dinosaurs," Patel told Bored Panda. "And that's pretty much the main reason I began creating these comics in the first place. The positive emotions I feel towards animals has led me to learn about them quite a bit (I guess I am kind of a dinosaur nerd, too)."
The artist said the extra knowledge he has acquired throughout the years helps him to be more creative when it comes to his stories. It allows him to strike the perfect balance between keeping his characters, the animals, themselves, and making them a bit human.
You won't see any big explosions or gripping car chases in the series. "I focus on funny, real-life situations," Patel said, adding that positive vibes and relatability are some of the most important things he's trying to instill in his comics. I don't know about you, but I can certainly use some of those in the uncertain, isolated life I've been living this year.
