Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker was one of the first games I ever played, so of course it holds a special place in my heart. Now, many years later, I get to play with some really cool toys at my local maker-space, including a full-color 3D printer. So I teamed up with the amazing Doctor Octoroc, and he used models and textures ripped directly from the game to make super-accurate files. Then I took those down to the shop and printed them out on the Z-Corp 650.
Once it has finished printing, I carefully remove the extra powder
Then in goes in for some baking and drying
Once the powder is removed, I add concentrated superglue to make the colors pop!
