Maine Coon and Siamese cats are very different in size, as evident from the pic in this list. But they also have quite different temperaments. Maine Coons are like the Golden Retrievers of the cat world. They're sociable "gentle giants" and have a thick double coat that is water-resistant.
The Siamese, on the other hand, have a very intelligent yet affectionate demeanor. They're very social and require constant attention, whereas Maine Coons can be laid-back and independent. Siamese cats also love to converse with their owners through meowing a lot and form really strong bonds with their owners.

Why do some strawberries tend to be white inside and not red? This conundrum has plagued TikTok users for a while now, but the explanation is quite simple. If a strawberry has white innards, it's usually because it isn't ripe yet. Because farmers often are rushed to provide produce as quickly as possible, the berries don't have time to get ripe.
Also, most berry brands do not deliver ripe strawberries to supermarkets because they don't have a long shelf life. While strawberries do ripen after they're picked, they don't get sweeter. That's why strawberries from a farmer's market are more likely to be not only red inside, but also not as sweet.

From the picture in this list, we can see that a polar bear paw is much bigger than our fingered hand. Interestingly, their paws are quite big for their bodies, too. On average, they're 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter, and their hind paws are bigger and aid them in swimming.
A polar bear's front paws are more round and partially webbed, and the hind paws are elongated. The small black bumps on their feet are called papillae; they create friction so that it's easier for the bears to move on ice.

#12 The Stark Difference Between A Kroger And Farmers Market Strawberry

An adult of any species of animal will always be bigger than its baby; that's not a privilege reserved solely for the Galapagos Tortoises. But there are animals that are tiny at birth but turn into quite the giants as they mature. Pandas are probably the best-known example: a panda mom is 900 times bigger than her cub. In comparison, a human baby is about 22 times smaller than its mother.
But other animals have quite tiny babies as well. Rabbits, for example, give birth to babies that are 40 times smaller than they are. Newborn whales are 50 times smaller than their mothers. A Bengal tiger cub, surprisingly, is 120 times smaller than its parents. Yet kangaroos probably have everyone beat, as their little ones are 100,000 times smaller than their mothers. They have to fit into that pouch, after all!
Before-and-after pics of excavation sites can be pretty fascinating. The one we have here on this list is in the city of Tekin, Germencik County in Turkey. The excavation works started in 2004, and archaeologists had to remove vast amounts of sand and clay to reveal the stadium underneath. Around 30k spectators could fit in it, and it would host horse races, boxing fights, and perhaps an occasional gladiator fight.
