We want to give you something for it: a musical visual experience, from which all our minds are enriched!
Viridissima is a visualized concert tour in the Rhein-Main area (Germany), which combines Gregorian music and new music with visualization. The concert program features pieces of the Gregorian chant, songs of the Hildegard of Bingen and, with respect to these, three newly composed pieces by Raphaël Languillat. The Ensemble Kaliomene Rheinische Frauenschola, consisting of a total of six singers, conducted by Ximena Gonzalez, will perform the program.
The visualization of the music of the Viridissima project is conceived and implemented by the light artist Katrin Bethge. Abstract and symbolic patterns, shapes and colors are projected and set in motion against the interior architecture of the performance space.
The selected church rooms are on the one hand a cultural heritage, on the other hand as a sound heritage: a musical architecture that came to life with the visualization.
