I got sick with a virus 11 years ago, and shortly after, developed acquired savant syndrome.
I am still suffering from problems cause by the virus. Every day presents new struggles and challenges for me. Yes, I have acquired savant syndrome and I am talented in many ways, but I am incapable of doing the most basic and normal things. It's bittersweet.
