A Sense Of Serinity

This collection of mixed media paintings of Buddhas explore the calming and tranquility sense of meditation and being at one with ones self. During the creation process I manage to block out all negativity and concentrate on my own positivity and calmness, which is reflected in the outcomes. With the use of layering up patterns and bold colours I manages to create modern pieces of artwork that capture a sense of peace and serinity. The iconic images of Buddha's bring a sense of calm to a room, the variety and contrast in the paints used capture the light and highlights the strong colours used.
