As a born and bred swede, I have to show off a little and publish a selection of photographs showing the incredible beauty of the Swedish landscape.
Giving that Sweden is the fifth largest country in Europe with an area of 449,964 km2 and 55th-largest in the world, you can't expect it to be anything less then amazing (landscape-wise). And you can't forget the fact that around 65% of Sweden's total land area is covered with forests and we hold an amount of almost 96,000 lakes!
All in all, Sweden consists of 25 provinces who are all based on culture, geography and history + their very own type of landscape.
So to make a "long" story short, I was looking through some of my photographs of Sweden and thought I should do a little post here and share them for everyone to see. Giving the fact that a large portion of the world's population either think we are Switzerland or any of the Scandinavian countries, I felt it as my responsibility to enhance and stick up for my country, by showing the "beautifulness" Sweden has to offer =)
