A Lego Factory Built Of Lego Bricks Making Lego Bricks.

There are many videos about the LEGO production process and many interviews about the LEGO design process, but have you ever wondered about a playable LEGO Factory, where you can play the whole process with your minifigures? You can drive the truck that transports the raw material for the little bricks, then you upload silos - in the meantime, the LEGO designers in the design studio make new models, that could be produced in the factory. Then there is the working moulding machine, “where the magic happens.” It would be so cool, wouldn’t it?

There is a website called LEGO Ideas, where LEGO fans around the world can share their set ideas, and if they reach 10.000 supporters, the idea might become an actual LEGO set.

So I had an idea years ago, to build a LEGO factory for my small LEGO town. One day, I saw a blog post saying that the LEGO Ideas team wants to see original and unique ideas that aren't based on an existing theme. I was like "Why not?" so I've built this little factory and uploaded it to LEGO Ideas.

The building is similar to the LEGO offices in Billund, Denmark. It has three rooms where you can see the different stages of the LEGO production process: the designer's workshop, the entrance and of course a factory area with a moulding machine, pipes, storage shelves for the moulds and the automated factory robot.
