With her latest project called "AI", Lor-K uses artificial intelligence to generate prototype sculptures, always using the same prompt: "Abstract sculptures in the street made of black and neon colored trash". The unlimited nature of the results generated by the artificial intelligence offers an unprecedented vision of the aesthetic potential of waste. From these different renderings gift by machine, Lor-K chooses her favorites and creates them in the street. Their physical creation and their material existence in space question the notions of copyright already well shaken up by creative AIs. The previously obsolete detritus is transformed into a flamboyant sculpture. Inspired by deep-learning, Lor-K’s creations invite us to expand our perceptions of reality.
