I'm not a photographer, but I do enjoy this art. And I love Europe, especially Italy. While browsing around I found the images of these 5 photographers. I like them. They're women. They're Italian.

Anna Volpi. Quite an eclectic photographer, ranging from boudoir to burlesque to surreal and conceptual, to nudes to studio work. A fun thing is that she is also a photographer for www.aperturetours.com, so you can actually learn photography with her while walking around a city in Italy. www.annavolpi.com Instagram and Twitter @anna_volpi_photos.

Micaela Zuliani. Also went viral with her 'Disability Boudoir' series. She appears to be very into the feminine world. She shoots boudoir, bridal showers, pregnancies, photos for couples and all the likes. www.micaelazuliani.com. Instagram and twitter: mkzphotocom

Carmen Palermo. I like that her images are mostly Polaroids. It gives a nice break from the ultra crisp and saturated images we're used to seeing. These are a bit more mysterious and I want to have them in my hands. www.carmenpalermo.com. Instagram: @carmenpalermopolaroid

Dayana Montesano does mostly fine art. This picture is from the series 'Immersioni'. Some of her photos are much like paintings. They're airy, light, sensual. www.dayanamontesano.wordpress.com. Instagram: @dayatla

Marta Bevacqua. Although based in Paris, she's from Italy. Lots and lots of women in her photography, usually alone. Not very upbeat, but gorgeous and intimate images. www.martabevacquaphotography.com. Instagram: @martabevacqua
