Bored Panda wanted to learn more about Vinícius's work, so we asked him a few questions. We invited the tattoo artist to share insights into his creative process, and here’s what he told us: “I need to evaluate the sizes and dimensions requested by the client. From there, I imagine how the artwork would look if it were actually stitched onto fabric. This allows me to create the perfect design to transform into a tattoo on the skin!”
When asked about the most challenging aspect of using this complex technique, Moschen responded: “Once, I had to design a piece representing a client’s grandmother. He provided real photos of her along with the clothing and accessories he wanted included in the artwork. It was incredibly complex and took me days to create, but in the end, it turned out amazing.”
We were also curious about how clients typically react when they see their finished tattoos. The artist kindly shared: “Clients come in very curious about the process, and they are always positively surprised by the final result! They are often stunned when they finally see the work in person.”
Lastly, Vinícius shared some advice for beginner tattoo artists aspiring to master their craft: “It takes a lot of dedication and study, as this is a very intricate technique to master. Practice drawing extensively on paper or a tablet to get a feel for dimensions. Once you feel confident, gradually start transferring your designs to skin.”
