#1 Dachshund

I'm a 35-year-old, self-taught artist. I'm originally from Lapland, Finland, so nature, wildlife and animals in general have always been very close to my heart. Even when I was a little girl, I used to take care of bugs and all small critters that lived on my family farm. Today, I'm living in Helsinki, but my upbringing can still be seen in my art.

#3 American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

I've always been creative and drawing (casually) since I was little. I started actively drawing a few years back as a New Year's resolution to myself. That resolution has led me to great things, like having several of my own art exhibitions and being able to work on very cool art projects and art orders from my customers.
I've mainly been drawing with pencil and ink, but I'm always experimenting with my creativity and new mediums - even though my Instagram doesn't show it.

#5 The Great Dane

Creating art is my happy place. It is a flow state where time just vanishes. Doing something like that is a great joy. The most difficult part of the creative process is when you keep creating things that don't fully resonate with yourself. It's nice to create pretty things, but it's amazing to create something that feels like it came from the soul.

#7 The Old Golden Retriever

Drawing and creating are just something that I'm drawn to (no pun intended). It's something that just feels like it is a solid part of me and therefore I can't escape it. I love seeing what empty paper and some ink can create - it's magic.
