World Bodypainting Festival (WBF) organized by Alex Barendregt is the most creative, colorful, and memorable festival in the world! The WBF not only brings the World’s top body art talents together but also creates an atmosphere where people feel that they are a part of an artistic family celebrating their colorful annual reunion.
The WBF introduces you to the beautiful art form of fine art bodypainting that celebrates the human forms combined with the creative ingenuity of an artist. Bodypainting is a truly unique art form that only lives for a day. More than 300 artists from over 50 countries competed at the WBF2018. Main artist competitions took place over three days from July 12th to July 14th with 8 World Awards, 4 Special Awards, and 2 Amateur Awards up for grabs.
I was lucky to travel from Ottawa (Canada) to Klagenfurt (Austria) and take stunning pictures at this incredible festival.
