My name is Davide Sasso and I love photography and animation. Over the last few years, I have been traveling around Italy and taking photos in some wonderful places that looked like they were straight out of one of Hayao Miyazaki’s films!
I am a great fan of animation, in particular, the works of Studio Ghibli which inspired me for this photographic project.
I took these photos in Alberobello, Lake Maggiore, Lake Como, and the Cinque Terre.
Of all my favorite is Alberobello. During my stay in this small town, I saw the characteristic houses called “trulli”, which seem straight out of an anime.
I am really happy to have shown these beautiful places of Italy to the world through my photographs. If you go to Italy, I absolutely recommend you to see all these wonders, you will not regret it!
