I asked 100 random strangers around the streets of San Francisco and Shanghai what they wished for the new year. Most were students but I tried to include some others as well. 
The world is a small place, and perhaps the similarities between people are more than the differences, regardless of where they come from. Let's hope 2017 can be a year of peace and understanding for all of humanity.
